The salesman who used to handle our plumbing fixtures has retired and they sent us a new rep to meet. I think that the new plumbing fixtures rep must have been somewhere around twenty years old and not a day older. I am wondering how he could have had any time to actually learn the business unless he was raised around plumbers or something. I tried to stump him about some of the products that they offer and found that he knew their product list forwards and backwards.

In fact, he introduced me to a new item that they would be offering soon, it was a waterless urinal that looked really nice, new age and clean. If it was going to save me money on water then I might as well have one installed in my office to try it out and then if I like it, I will look into having one of the waterless urinals put in the shop bathroom.

The new plumbing fixtures salesman left my office with a big order and a big smile on his face. I was glad to see that he knew what he was talking about and he seemed like he was going to work out just fine. He was young and energetic and eager to please, that is the way I like my salesman.

The only way that the dell repair man would come and fix the poweredge servers last night, was if I agreed to pay the extra fifty dollar trip charge because it was after hours. I had to have the servers up and running before everyone came in to start work again, since we lost about three hours yesterday when they went down.

I agreed to the trip charge amount, because I really had no other choice and the dell repair company knew that. I had tried to find a different repair company to come out and it seemed that no one else knew how to fix poweredge servers. I did not think that they were rare or anything, so I am not sure why no one else knows how to repair them.

As soon as I am able to afford some new servers, I will be buying them. I will have to make sure that I call around to the different repair men to see what is more commonly used and buy those, so that I am not taken advantage of again by the dell repair company that knew I had no other choice and let me know it. I will never call that place again for anything.

I have seen other stores here in the mall actually pay the ridiculous prices from the point of sale equipment sales representative that has been working this place for the past twenty years. I think that the old manager from here might have used him too, because he still stops in from time to time and sees if I need anything.

I cannot remember if I have told him that I get my stuff at the used point of sale equipment site or not. I am quite sure that he knows about them since they have probably taken at least half of his business from this mall. I think that I am probably the one who got everyone started using the used pos equipment site and hope that they all keep using it. There is no reason why in today’s economy that anyone should be paying full price if you don’t have to. I think that possibly the prices on the used point of sale equipment site might be sixty to seventy percent less than the sales rep offers. I think that is probably the biggest thing that makes me wonder why in fact, anyone would pay the prices of the sales rep.

I have recently contacted the used pos equipment company and they sent me a complete price list of everything they offer. I had one of the store managers ask the sales rep, for a complete price list also and then I am going to compare them and show the other managers what they could be saving if they switch.

My first thought when the computer guy suggested installing used servers, was that he would be making even more money from me with someone else’s old servers. I told him that it did not sound like a very good idea to me and he told me that I should just check out the website that sold the used poweredge servers he was suggesting first, before I made any decisions.

I gave the name of the website to my secretary and told her to check it out and let me know what she thought. I had pretty much thought it was a waste of my time and she had more free time to see if the used servers were as junky as I thought they would be. I even went as far as to tell her to fire the computer guy if the used servers were not like he said they were.

She came into my office and told me that from everything she could see, the refurbished used poweredge servers looked to be a great deal. They were being sold by a good company that guaranteed them and they were actually pretty much like brand new since they had been serviced with new factory parts prior to being put on the site. So, it looked like I was going to buy used poweredge servers after all.

I wanted to call and complain to the company that sold me the bad used hp servers only two months ago but their number had been disconnected. I should have known, since they probably did the same too many other unsuspecting customers and had to close up shop or risk being sued a million times over.

I had to call in my computer tech guys to find me good used proliant servers in a hurry since I had already been down for two days and had probably lost somewhere between five and ten thousand dollars in sales.

The computer tech guy that I use the most often called me later that afternoon and told me that he had found four different used hp servers and that three of them were used proliant servers which I already had installed. He told me that he thought they would be the best bet since my system was obviously compatible with that particular brand. I gave him the go ahead to purchase all three of the used proliant servers even thought I only needed two of them, we could use the third one as a back up or even set it up so that it would be turned on if one of the others were to go on.

I was given the roster for my new Scottsdale coed soccer league team and started calling all of them to let them know when our first practice would be and could only reach two people on the list. I kept trying the next day and was able to get a few more but at this pace, I knew that they would all not make it to the first mandatory Scottsdale soccer league practice of the year.

I called the club to let them know that I needed them to help me with this dilemma and they agreed. I guess that they only gave me the player’s home numbers but they had work and cell numbers in their database and they would contact them to let them know about the practice.

On the day of the first Scottsdale coed soccer league practice, every single one of my players showed up and gave me one hundred percent. I knew after that practice, we were going to be serious contenders for winning the tournament this year. I think that pretty much every team we beat during the regular Scottsdale soccer league season knew it too. If we can keep the streak alive, we could possibly have an undefeated season which would be a first for the league.

I asked for directions to the toddler pajamas in the store. I was searching for seven pairs of footed pajamas for my son and really wanted to get seven different colors. The cold winter months were fastly approaching and I was trying to get ready ahead of it.

I was only able to find four different colors, unless I wanted to get him pink and yellow and then I would have six. I knew that there should be some online stores that carried them and they might even have some that had some robots or cars as a design. I typed in toddler pajamas into the search engine and found a great site that was even having a sale on them.

I was able to get him the three other pairs of footed pajamas that I wanted to so that he would have a different pair for every night. The three that I got from the site, were all with designs. I even included him in the choosing of them. He chose the ones with the fire trucks, the cars and the ones with the big stars on them. They were all reasonably priced and they even offered me free shipping since I spent a qualifying amount.

The only way that our company can keep from cutting jobs, is for us to find ways to save money with our day to day costs. Our entire office was all for helping to come up with different ways to do that. I was the one to find a discount office supplies company that was going to cut our office supplies bill in half. I think that this may be one of the biggest things that we did to cut costs.

My friend, who works upstairs, was able to convince the manager to approve the replacement of the light bulbs with those new energy efficient ones and it would cut down on the electric bills over time. The initial cost was a bit high, but with the reports of what the savings would be, it was a smart move.

By the end of the first month of everyone putting their heads together to cut costs, we figured that everything we had done, including the light bulbs and the discount office supplies along with many other things, we would be saving about two thousand dollars a month. I am glad that I had been part of that savings, with the discount office supplies company finding.
