Grandpas Car
When my mother asked me to come with grandpa to have his car repainted, gramps could just be surprised. He thought we were going to a building. But what he saw was actually one of those industrial spray booths that put on colors in the car. Grandpa thought that these days’ people still paint their cars by hand, as in manually; and I just shook my head. I told him, “Grandpa, there’s an easier way to do it,” and I just pointed on those booths.
We left grandpa’s car to the auto workers and expected the job to be finished in weeks or so. Grandpa was surprise when he got a call a few days later, saying his car has been repainted and polished. When we got there, sure enough, the car was looking all brand new! Grandpa was just excited.
When we got home, he said that the only things he thought with booths are ticket booths in the carnival and cinema; but now there are car booths too-auto paint booths to be exact! He was laughing at this discovery. He told me this generation just creates many ways to make life easier. And these booths are just one of those good innovations.
