Jesus Hates the Yankees
My friend invited us to watch a Yankee game next weekend. We were a little surprised because we have been made aware of his disgust towards that team a hundred of times in the past. When he showed us the tickets he got, we all gave him the look of confusion. He then laughed and told us that he is planning to do something fun this weekend. Of course, since we are all free and the tickets are also free, we all agreed to go.
When we are already at the venue for the game, we all waited for him for the tickets. When he arrived, he gave us not only our tickets, but also t shirts the read, “Jesus Hates the Yankees.” We all rolled our eyes because we somehow expected him to do something like that. We just laughed it off, and agreed to help him accomplish his plan; and we also think the funny t shirts are cool.
When we entered the arena, we just shake all the malicious stares of the people off. We also received several insulting comments, but we just looked at them and smiled, because our t shirt said it all. At the end of the day, we all agree that it is an experience worth doing again.
