Talked One On One With Perry Stone
I met a woman who went to school with Perry Stone. I asked her all kinds of questions about him and she would just tell me that if I wanted to know what he was like, then I should take the time to meet him. I laughed and told her that I thought Perry Stone was a little too busy to meet with someone like me. She said that he was a much more generous person than I was giving him credit for.
I took what she said and just kind of stored it in the back of my mind. A few years later, while I was doing some traveling with my wife, we found out that Perry Stone was speaking at an engagement in the exact city that we were in. I called around to see if it would be possible for us to attend and luckily I found someone who could get us in. We attended and afterwards, I remembered what the woman had told me several years ago and I decided to try and approach Perry to see what kind of person he was when he was just one on one with someone. He ended up being very nice and I felt comfortable with carrying on a normal conversation.
