The report that came out in the latest real estate news was that Greek properties were falling in price. I was shocked and happy to hear that, since I had been looking to buy a second home in Greece for about twenty years now. I was born in Greece and traveled back to visit family about four or five times a year. I had never been able to afford to purchase a home there, due to the fact that the housing market was always booming.

I guess that the stock market issues and the housing market from all of the other countries had finally caught up to the Greek property that seemed to be so untouchable. I am glad that I was watching the real estate news channel when they aired this report. It may be just the break that I need to finally own my own home in Greek.

I am traveling back to Greece in about three weeks and have already set up time to meet with a real estate company to show me some of the houses that are now in my price range. From looking at some of them online, they look very nice. It will be a dream come true if I can own one of the many beautiful Greek property that there are to choose from.
