I was so excited when I found some really cool Tod’s shoes at store at the mall. This store just opened up last month, and I had not had a chance to check it out prior to today. They even had fabulous prices so I could not pass them up.

I hope that my parents do not freak out over the price of them when they get the credit card statement in the mail. I will be grounded again if they do, like the time that I found the most fabulous pair of Prada shoes online and just went ahead and bought them without asking. The day that credit card statement came, my parents grounded me for a month but I still got to keep the Prada shoes so I did not care.

If they ask me about the new Tod’s shoes that I just got, I will just tell them that I borrowed them from my best friend Tracy until they get the bill and then they will learn the truth. If it means holding my grounding off for a little longer, then it is worth it. It is possible thought this time that I might get grounded for two months for buying the shoes and then lying about it but I will get to keep the shoes and that is all that matters.
