Not Sure An Iron Door Would Work
I saw an iron door in a home decorating magazine and wondered how my house would look if I had one installed. I was not sure if my style of house would look good with iron or not. I called a great friend of mine that used to do some home interior decorating, and figured that she would know the answer.
My friend came over and looked at the style of iron door I wanted to install and told me that it would look great on my house, if I added some other iron features as well. She suggested that at the end of the sidewalk leading out into the drive, under the arbor, I install a set of iron gates. I had never thought of doing that, but could see how it would tie the iron door and the iron gates together.
I called and got four different estimates from some companies that install iron doors and gates. I was happy with the second company that came out because they answered all of my questions and seemed to be very professional. The day that my iron door and my set of iron gates were put in, I could not believe how nice it all looked. I wish that I would have done it sooner.
