My Neighbor Bought A Used Dell
If you are looking to buy used poweredge servers, make sure the company you are getting them from backs up their work. I bought one from a local computer store and it was a piece of crap. They told me that all sales were final and they could service it, but they would not give me back my money.
I later found out that my neighbor had bought a used dell from the same store, and it only lasted about a month before it crashed. He took it back to them and he was told the same thing about the fact that they could service it for him, but nothing more.
My boss found out what had happened to me, and told me about a company that he had dealt with for years that sells used poweredge servers and guarantees their work. Most of what they sell is new refurbished items and if my neighbor still wanted a used dell that will work more than a month, then we should check it out.
