Glow Necklaces are Worn to the Dance
I ordered glow necklaces for my daughter and her friends to wear at their first junior high dance. I thought that it would make them feel more confident to have something different yet cool. They were all excited when I showed all the different colors to them. They picked out their favorite and snapped it on.
When I dropped them off at the school, you could see them all walking into the gymnasium together like one big glowing pack. I went back home to wait until it would be time to pick them up. I found a spot up front to park at, so they could find me easily.
When they got in the car, I noticed that some of them did not have their necklaces but had glow bracelets instead. I asked them how they did that, and they told me that there were a group of other girls who had been wearing the glow bracelets and some of them exchanged their necklaces for bracelets. By doing that, they had made a bunch of new friends.
I am sure that those girls were excited to see someone else with glowing items. It must have been a great conversation starter for all of them.
They are all known as the glow girls and everyone expects them to be wearing something that glows when they go to the dances now.
